Our Commitments

phytosanitary

To limit the use of pesticides, we are committed to:

  • a minimum 5-year rotation per plot;
  • the use of mildew-resistant
    varieties;
  • rigorous selection of agricultural
    land;
  • the use of weather stations to model fungal risks.

irrigation

To limit our water consumption, we use

  • new irrigation systems (bars, drip irrigation);
  • tensiometers in the plots.

fertilisation

Fertilisation is adapted to the plants’

needs

using an analysis of the nitrogen residues and main nutrients.

Renewable energy

The company is also committed to renewable energy by installing solar panels on storage buildings and recycling organic waste into biogas.

Our farm, our packaging centre and the majority of our partner farms are GLOBALG.A.P certified.

Our farm is converting its plots to Organic Farming.

Our packaging centre is ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IFS Food and organic farming certified.

Labelling

The Ferme de Fontenay is part of a Zero* Residue Pesticide Programme.

*Within the limits of quantification (smallest value quantifiable by laboratories) of the active substances analysed on our products.
