Our carefully grown produce guarantees freshness and quality at every stage.

75% of Ferme de Fontenay's products are sold to supermarkets and 25% to food service businesses, wholesalers and export markets.

The company's sales have tripled in 10 years, reaching 34 million euros in 2023. This growth reflects our commitment to providing high-quality vegetables.

Our geographical location, 100 km south-east of the Rungis International Market, is an undeniable advantage, enabling us to deliver as quickly as possible anywhere in France.

 

The responsiveness and versatility of our production facilities mean we can respond very quickly to all our customers' requests (high volumes, trade fairs, urgent requirements, etc.), ensuring that our produce is as fresh as possible.

A core market, low-price range that emphasises our role as grower and packer.

 

Early onions harvested from the end of May are marketed under "L'Oignon Nouveau" brand from June to September.

Premium: Grown and packaged by hand for superior quality.

 

Regional: 30% is grown in Brie (Ile de France) and 70% in Champagne (Grand Est). Place of production indicated on the label.

 

Agroecological: A range with the High Environmental Value (HVE) label, respectful of the environment. It also includes products with the zero pesticide residue label.

 

100% traced: Use of blockchain technology for complete traceability. Consumers can access all the product information by scanning the QR code on the label (date sowed, date harvested, packing location, etc.).

 

Products available: yellow onions, red onions, pink onions, silverskin onions, shallots, banana shallots and garlic.

This brand is also available in bunches and in bulk, and includes premium products with protected designations of origin.

An innovative new variety developed by seed company BEJO.
This is an onion with a mild, sweet flavour that can be eaten raw or cooked. It doesn't make you cry, leave a lingering smell on your fingers or give you bad breath!

In-store service to promote our products

We offer a tailored merchandising service within a 200 km radius of the farm (Grand-Est, Ile-de-France and Burgundy) to showcase our ranges, particularly the VAJOU premium range.

Our team of merchandisers showcases products from our ranges and our customers' own brands, maximising visibility and sales in-store.

 

This service includes:

  • Shelving/facing, with the number of visits per week depending on the shop's potential,

  • Order recommendations (seasonal selections),

  • Promotional and themed campaigns every 6 weeks,

  • In-store tasting events to introduce customers to our products,

  • Provision of customised merchandising tools, permanent display units, point-of-sale displays, etc.
